D33 to DYA standard specifications - $195,000 sail away
The Well Equipped Family Yacht

Delphia D33 is the most exciting news from the Delphia factory in Poland. The yacht is very much like its big sisters, the D37 & D40, but being a brand new design offers up to the minute modern styling.

The cockpit feels comfortable and very spacious and gives you the option to choose between wheel steering or tiller. Teak inlay is standard on cockpit floor and seating benches. On the portside there is a large deep locker with plenty of storage area for sails and other bulky items. On the starboard side there is another locker with the same width under the seating, and at the back a separate locker for a gas bottle with ventilation and drainage for maximum safety.

At the stern there is a teak inlaid bathing platform with well designed foot steps and ladder and a strong pushpit to hold on to.

Under the cockpit is a very large double cabin, the double bunk is 205cm long, a large wardrobe on the starboard side and opening hatches and plenty of storage. There is plenty of headroom and storage. The timber and lighting creates a warm cosy atmosphere.

On the portside a large head, with hot and cold water and plenty of room to shower. Behind the toilet are hangers for wet sailing gear. The electric toilet has a pump-out holding tank. The whole head is a one piece fibreglass moulding so there can be no leaks, even the door is made of fibreglass with mahogany on the outside.

In the 2 cabin version there is a nicely presented navigation table with storage under the seat. The table is large enough for charts and navigation equipment. The BEP electrical panels and VHF radio are within easy reach and well laid out.

Opposite the navigation table is a good size galley fitted with a gas two burner Smev stove with oven (Australian approved). The "L" shaped galley is well laid out with a double sink fitted with chopping boards and single lever mixer for the hot and cold water. There is plenty of working area to prepare meals with lots of drawers and storage. The 72Ltr Isotherm S/Steel fridge with water cooled condenser is the state of art in refrigeration efficiency and is quiet so it won't keep you awake when you want to rest or sleep.

The saloon is the heart of the boat and one of the highlights of the new D33. When you enter the saloon you can feel at home, it is well laid out with easy to reach hand and grab rails. The sofa on the port side has a length of 2.05M and is convertible into a sea bed when the back rest cushion is removed making it an extra sleeping area. Height in saloon is 1.95M with plenty of opening hatches and side windows to create an open atmosphere.

In the forward cabin the double bed is 2.05M long with a comfortable seat between the mattress offering a place to sit with also storage under the cushion. The cabin has two wardrobes, one on each side of cabin and a large hatch above the bed making ventilation and lighting pleasant.
